During the reported period , RIIO continued to enhance the capacity of Kibagabaga Eye clinic through upgrading infrastructure equipment and quality eye health personnel in order to insure quality of eye health services is delivered at KIBAGABAGA Community eye clinic . II. Cataract outreach Program
In order to Engage and support key national partners, and collaborate with local health Partners to deliver relevant eye health services. These include district hospitals without ophthalmologists , RIIO have impacted the lives of 257 people though Community cataract outreach program in underserved zones where there is no Ophthalmologist, the table below shows the hospital visited as well as the number of cataracts operated .
