RIIO seeks for increasing the awareness of different people in different sectors about the eye care and its abnormalities prevention and treatment. RIIO works closer with various institutions to evaluate the eye conditions of their stakeholders, workers and other. RIIO provides guidance and recommendations about everyone’s conditions, curiosity and other concerns.
RIIO team composed by RIIO residents led by Prof CIKU Mathenge in partnership with the Four Points SHERATON Hotel, has conducted the Staff Eye Screening at Four Hotel SHERATON Hotel, on 15th February 2024. The 58 examined individuals got basic tips about the eye care, benefits of conducting eye checkups regularly and a message of consulting an eye specialist the sooner; anytime their eyes present abnormalities to avoid complications and irreversible consequences.
