Dr. Ciku Mathenge, co-director of the Rwanda International Institute of Ophthalmology, recently served as a Master Trainer for the World Health Organization‘s pilot training workshop in Kigali, Rwanda. The course ran from December 14th to December 17th and gathered nurses from around the country for training in Primary Eye Care (PEC).
