Rwanda International Institute of Ophthalmology (RIIO) is in partnership with the Ministry of Health Rwanda (MOH) to support academic and Professional excellence in Rwanda .
In order to contribute towards increasing the number of quality health workforce in the country , RIIO have entered collaboration for Health Professionals Education with University of Rwanda and Other Allied Health training institutions among them UGHE Butaro . It is in this regards that RIIO agrees to receive a total of 30 senior medical students rotating at RIIO per year for their clinical clerkship from UGHE Butaro and so far 20 Students have completed the rotation starting from April 2023 .
