Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and Diabetic Retinopathy Screening workshop

RIIO had the honor of hosting Dr. Andrew Blaikie from St. Andrew’s University in Scotland for an all-day workshop focussing on skills transfer for the screening of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and Diabetic Retinopathy. The amazing thing was that the residents not only gained valuable skills, but Dr. Blaikie and the team at ArcLight also gave each resident the equipment needed to carry out these tasks.

Dr Blaikie demonstrated the use and maintenance of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and Diabetic Retinopathy screening materials. These matearials are simple and moveable to any place. They eliminate the limits of space occupation, and provide accurate images that are easily interpreted.
