World Glaucoma Week is celebrated every March–The goal is to alert everyone to have regular eye (and optic nerve) checks in order to detect glaucoma as early as possible.
We held a free screening session at the RIIO@Kibagabaga Community Eye Clinic. Members of the public aged 40+ were screened and tested for Glaucoma by RIIO staff and residents. The screening was part of our activities to mark #worldglaucomaweek
