Dr. Rachel Scott is currently a global ophthalmology fellow at Stanford University. After graduating medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, she completed her ophthalmology residency at University of Colorado, where she developed her interest in global eye health, resident education, complex anterior segment surgery, and comprehensive clinical care. She is grateful to train under global leaders in ophthalmology, including the esteemed faculty at RIIO, during her fellowship and to work with the exceptional residents at RIIO. At RIIO, Rachel is teaching a course in ocular genetics for the first year residents, collaborating on resident research projects, and leading a weekly wet lab program.
