On the eve of World Diabetes Day 2015, the Rwanda International Institute of Ophthalmology organized a conference, in partnership with Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, that gathered physicians from around the country at the Lemigo hotel in Kigali, Rwanda. With presentations and panel discussions from Rwanda’s leading ophthalmologists and diabetes experts, attendees learned about the complications associated with diabetes and methods to prevent vision loss. Participants earned Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits at the end of the day.
