Dr. Ciku in partnership with the Fred Hollows Foundation successfully restored the sight of 4 family members. The family all had congenital cataracts.
The surgery coincided with a visit to Rwanda and RIIO by Di Westaway, who was present to see witness the “miracles”. Di Westaway is a major supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and has raised millions to support their efforts all over the world.
